BLANTYRE ZERO AND DD SUNSHINES FACES IN THE FINAL OF FAM NATIONAL WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
DD Sunshine will face Blantyre Zero in the final of FAM Women's National Championship on Sunday at Civo Stadium.
Blantyre Zero beat Ascent Academy 4-3 on penalties to reach the final.
Blantyre Zero converted their spot kicks through Vanessa Chikupira, Carol Mulenzo, Sharon Dzimau, Zainab Kapanda, Emily Josam and Chimwemwe Sapangwa.
DD Sunshine thumped Skippers 4-0 to reach the final, were Caroline Mathyola bagged a hat-trick and Chisomo Banda joined her on the score sheet.
Blantyre zero will be hoping to get a revenge from DD Sunshine as they were outclassed 3-0 in the Presidential Cup final of 2020.
The winner will cart home K 1 million, while the runner up will get K 700,000.
On individual prices, the top goal scorer will receive K 50,000 and player of the season will receive K60, 000.
Ascent Academy and Skippers will compete for third place.
