SAMBANI'S INJURY NOT SERIOUS

Nyasa Big Bullets has provided an update on the injury of their defender, Precious Sambani who was substituted in a 2-1 win over Moyale Barracks on Wednesday.

The team has said Sambani's substitution was a precaution measure to prevent the injury going worse.

"The substitution was more of  a precaution measure, but we will reases him when the team return to Blantyre,otherwise preliminary assessment does not show much damage to the knee, but may need a few days off".

Sambani scored the first goal against Moyale Barracks, before he was replaced by Elick Kaonga in the 67th minutes.

Sambani, who has now two goals from six league games he has featured in this campaign, returned to action at the start of the season after being on the sidelines for almost a year due to a knee injury that he sustain in the 2020-21 season .
