FDH Banks Hikes Flames sponsorship deal
FDH Bank has announced a new four-year sponsorship
deal for the Malawi National Football Team, The Flames worth K1 billion.
This means that a total amount of K250 million will be
used per year from K120 million in the previous deal.
Addressing the Media at the Unveiling Ceremony, Managing
Director of FDH Bank Noel Nkulichi, said that the Bank has increased the sponsorship
following the tremendous growth that they have seen in the national football
team, which includes AFCON qualification.
Meanwhile, Football Association of Malawi, President,
Walter Nyamilandu, hailed FDH Bank for showing unwavering support to the Malawi
National Football team.
FDH Bank has also reviewed that they have plans to
invest in youth football in the near future.
The Bank started sponsoring the Flames in 2016 at K30
million a year.
