Karonga United distanced itself from yesterday's hooligans
Karonga United has distanced itself from the unsporting behaviors that happened yesterday at the Karonga Stadium.
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets were denied the access to train at Karonga Stadium ahead todays match against Karonga United.
According to the statement signed by General Secretary of Karonga United, Ramzy Simwaka, the Club has strongly condemned the incident saying it does not align itself with such acts of violence.
“Our club comprehends and upholds the rules of the and regulations governing our beloved sports.
“Karonga United FC does not align itself with such acts of violence and condemns them in the strongest terms. Those responsible for these actions have acted on their own accord, “reads part of the statement.
The club has assured adequate security measures as the two sides meet this afternoon.
Currently, Bullets are on the top of the summit with 56 points from 18 games while Karonga United are on position 8 with 37 points from 28 games.
