RED LIONS HANDS EKHAYA UNITED FIRST DEFEAT IN THE SRFA TOP 8

 Ekhaya United have suffered their first defeat in the Southern Region Thumbsup Premier Division league top 8 at the hands of Red Lions who beat the league leaders 2-nil at Mpira Stadium on Thursday afternoon.  Amoni Kapalamula’s brace was enough for the Zomba based soldiers to collect all the three points. This was the first time for the Cow boys to register a defeat in the top 8 league after playing four games without a loss. Speaking after the Match Red Lions Gaffer, Malumbo Mkandawile said the game was tough but his players followed the game plan which merged them to collect all the maximum points. “It was a tough match as Ekhaya is a good side but I must thank my players as they followed the game plan very well which made us collect all the three points,” Said Mkandawile.
