Silver Strikers unveil Peter Mponda as the new head coach

  Silver Strikers have appointed former Flames defender Peter Mponda as coach on a one-year performance-based contract. The central bankers announced the arrival of the former Black Leopards head coach through their official website. Speaking to Silver Strikers media after signing the contact, Mponda said he is excited to start a new chapter with the area 47 based side and look forward to taking up a new challenge. “I am glad to take up the role of being the team’s head coach and I feel this is my time to register my abilities with the team. The new role comes with pressure as any other job but to defeat the pressure we have to work hard and I believe we will do so and be successful. I cannot wait to meet the technical team to set the ball rolling”, Mponda said.
