“Bullets first goal was clear offside”- Ekwendeni Hammers Coach Elias Chirambo

 

Ekwendeni Hammers coach Elias Chirambo, said the first goal scored by FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the match between the two teams was just a gift and affected their play.

Chirambo said this after his side were booted out of the Castel Cup, following a 4-0 loss to Bullets at the Kamuzu Stadium.

“We started the match very well but, the players were frustrated because of the first goal that bullets scored which was a clear offside. We accept the defeat, it’s a game of football there is always one winner,” Said Chirambo

A brace from Hassan Kajoke and a goal each from Patrick Mwaungulu and captain Precious Sambani ensured the People’s Team Semifinal slot.

The Hammers are done for the season after being booted out in all competition.
