Ntopwa Super Queens wins SRF women’s league with a game left to play
Ntopwa Super Queens have claimed the Southern Region
FAM Women's Football League title with a game to play after a 6-0 win over Red
Lioness on Sunday.
The bangwe based outfit are at the summit of the table with
39 Points from 13 games FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women, who are
second on the log table have 34 points.
Kukoma has managed to win all the 13 games, scoring 65 goals
and conceding 3 goals this far.
The win means that Ntopwa has reached the national stage of
the competition and will be joined by FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women and Mighty
Wanderers women.
Meanwhile Ntopwa will face FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women's Fc
in their last match of the league where they will be officially crowned as this
year's Southern Region champions.
This year, the Amaghetto Kids represented Malawi during the
CAF Club Champions League in South Africa.
