“I would have loved to finish my Career at Bullets”- Rabson Chiyenda bids farewell

Former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Shot-stopper, Rabson Chiyenda has bade farewell to the people’s team supporters following his departure from the club after spending six years.

Chiyenda wrote the farewell message on his official Facebook page saying he would have loved to retire at Bullets but life has its own direction.

“I thought this day would not come, but it is time for me to say goodbye to FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, the club I have been a part of every day since arriving in 2017 from Mzuni FC.

“This is the club that I believed I would finish my career with, but life has its own direction, and it doesn't always go the way you expect.

“I came here as a young player, but I am leaving as a legend. It has been an incredible journey with many highlights and very few low points.

“We have won every domestic trophy, including back-to-back Golden Gloves in the league and our first-ever quadruple. I will leave with my head held high, having achieved everything with this esteemed club. It's always difficult to say goodbye to the family that has given me everything, but there is always a time to move on.

“I would like to personally thank everyone involved with this club for the support they have given me throughout these years - all the players, staff, Coach Kalisto Pasuwa, and all the coaches I have worked with,” said Chiyenda.

However, Chiyenda has departed from Bullets after winning 11 major domestic titles and He also won two back-to-back Golden Gloves in the 2018 and 2019 TNM Super League seasons.

The stopper who arrived at Bullets in 2017 from Mzuni FC, was released by the club last week alongside Righteous Banda, Chinedu Okafor, Collins Okumu, McFallen Mgwira, and Eric Kaonga.
