Mwaungulu, Idana, Nyodo, Nyasulu, Nominated for 2023 TNM Super League player of the season

 

Super League of Malawi (SULOM) has released the names of players that have been nominated for the most prestigious Player of the Season award.

According to SULOM, Chimwemwe Idana, Clement Nyondo, Innocent Nyasulu and Patrick Mwaungulu are the players that will battle for the eminent award.

Chimwemwe Idana made 23 appearances for Silver Strikers, scoring 8 goals, registering 8 assists and voted Man of the match 7 times while Clement Nyondo of Dedza Dynamos finished as a top goal scorer, finding the back of the 16 times during 27 appearances and voted man of the match on 2 occasions.

Patrick Mwaungulu of Nyasa Big Bullets registered 9 assists, 8 goals, voted man of the match 4 times from 26 appearances whilst Mighty Tigers goalie, Innocent Nyasulu recorded 13 clean Sheets from 28 games and voted man of the match from 7 matches.

TNM Super League team captains, coaches, and fixtures committee members were given the task of coming up with the four nominees.
